The rate at which you go through blades really depends on the type and quality of wood. A good rule of thumb is between 400-800 board feet. With our pre blade debarker you would expect to get between 500-1000 board feet.

Yes, we recommend that you lubricate the blade because it decreases the blade temperature, which increases the blade life. All Thomas Mills come with a lubrication system.
Blades can be sharpened several times depending on the amount of wear on the blade. We offer sharpening of sawmill blades at our Brooks facility for Thomas Mills only. Top |
